Dinner Church
Wednesdays at 6 PM

We share communion,
before we share Dinner and Dessert, family-style.

Kids and Parents are welcome!

Great chance to socialize

The Vine: Spirited Discussions 
Third Friday of every month | 5-6pm

     A group discussion over a small selection of Wine, Beers, and occasionally Spirit tasting.

In the past we've covered topics like: LGBTQ Spirituality, Hospitality, & Gratitude.

Prayers in the Parlor

for a Meditation on Scripture, and to pray for those on our prayer list from our local community.

Local Missions Ministry 
Ongoing
 

  • Weed trimming and mowing for wheelchair bound Terryville resident

  • Mowing for Terryville resident working two jobs to pay for medications.

  • Assisted Church couple with yard work.

  • Built a dog fence for Church member.

  • Weeding, trimming and cleanup for a friend of our Church.

  • Trimmed branches, weeding and weed trimming for Church member.

  • Built new platform for clothesline, replaced clothesline and trimmed branches and weeds for Church member.

  • Sanded and painted railings, landings and garage door frame.

  • Donations to Orphan Grain Train

  • Donation to Plymouth Social Services for local residents

  • Donation to Pastor Lim in the Philippine

  • Events dedicated to earning monetary Donations to the local Food Pantry.

  • Weekly Food Donations to the local Food Pantry.

  • Diaper Collection during the months of March, June, September, and December during Worship. We collect package of disposable diapers and/or wipes in various sizes, including adult sizes.

Prayer Shawl Ministry 
Ongoing

Whether they are called Prayer Shawls, Comfort Shawls, Peace Shawls, or Mantles, etc.
Knitters and crocheters create handmade shawls for people in need, as gifts of comfort, hope, and peace.


You don't need to know crochet or knit to start.
We can teach you!

Other Missions Ministry 
Ongoing
 

  • Through 2018-19 we donated money to build a orphanage to boy in Cebu, Philippines. Some came from a Filipino dinner sponsored in 2018 and additional funds from our wider mission giving of our congregation.

  • Church member Kathy Lutz has made her 25th consecutive Pan Mass Challenge Bike Ride to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Nearly 6,000 riders raised $63,000,000 which goes directly to Dana Farber.  The Mission Committee made a $500 donation to sponsor Kathy.
